This tool is designed to make an easy job of dividing up cylinders, slabs, and anything else you can make.
Segmented markings along the division arms make make centering this tool on your forms a breeze. With a wingnut to tighten/loosen the selector arm, you can position the tool in 15 degree increments to make typical shapes like triangles, squares, and hexagons. Additionally there is a secondary gauge divided into 5ths to easily mark a pentagon. With markings every 15 degrees, you could even make an icositetragon! (we had to look that one up)
