Description
Amaco Potter’s Choice Flux Honeydew glaze is a glossy pale green glaze like the melon it’s named for. It breaks across textured surfaces and develops a peachy float when thick. Great for layering with other glazes as a base or topcoat. Beautiful on any colour of clay. Good at cone 5, more fluid at cone 6.
Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1184C to 1241C (cone 5/6)
Firing range apply 3 coats to bisk.
Can be layered with Amaco Potters Choice, Celadon and Shino glazes)
Mixable colours for custom palette.
Always test new glazes and combination glazes.
Good to know:
Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
Fire in an oxidation kiln.
Works well over stoneware or porcelain clays.
Non-toxic (lead-free) Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
Reduction effects in oxidation.
