This stoneware vase is wheel-thrown and altered while the clay is still soft. Carol appliesa wide range ofglazing and brushwork techniques; with free and expressive strokes of coloured slips and glazes, alongside abstract marks andmotifs with paper cut stencilling and wax resist.
