Genuine gold metal beaten incredibly finely to form gossamer thin sheets for gilding. This leaf is supplied as transfer leaf and each leaf of gold is pressed lightly to a piece of backing paper.Our gold leaf is available in booklet of 25 leaves, standard booklet size is 80 x 80mm.23.75ct is pure gold and does not tarnish, but if the surface is to be handled or touched then it will need protection. We recommend sealing it with a high-quality acrylic sealer
