The video kit version of my pebble workshop to do in your own time.
If you are planning on making the pebbles on a specific day please remember I need to post the kit to you. If you are purchasing multiple kits for delivery to the same address please contact me to work out the postage.
Felted wool pebbles make for beautiful natural decor around your home. Be inspired by Jim Ede’s pebble displays at Kettles Yard and land artists Andy Goldsworthy and Richard Long. Display your pebbles in a bowl or thread them onto a linen string to create a window/wall hanging for your bathroom.
Or make a tactile paperweight by felting an actual stone. Felt a few more to create a stack of stones – focussing on a single task can help concentrate the mind from the noise of the everyday. It can be extremely relaxing whilst developing a sense of patience – finding the centre point of gravity can prove tricky and requires a slow steady hand!
This kit provides you with sufficient wool tops, wool batts, acrylic filling to create 5 natural coloured stones between 4-10cm in diameter or up to 10 tiny pebbles. It also includes a chunk of olive oil soap, a needle felting needle and a length of linen yarn.
