Description
This smoke-fired vessel is made using a technique called nerikomi a process involving the multi-layering of coloured clay which is then cut into thin sheets and constructed by hand. The soft, earthy palette and gently distorted geometric pattern reflects the effect of natural weathering on rock strata.
