Description
Ancient Jasper is a fluid, opaque glaze that transitions from soft black to olive green to rust red as it is applied thicker. This glaze has an active, varied surface by itself and layers with our other Potter’s Choice glazes with striking results.
Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1184C to 1240C (cone 5/6)
Firing range apply 3 coats to bisk.
Looks great on Amaco Celadon (3 coat/3 coat)
Mixable colours for custom palette.
Always test new glazes and combination glazes.

Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
Fire in an oxidation kiln.
Works well over stoneware or porcelain clays.
